Pragati Edible Processing (P) Ltd. was incorporated in 2007. It is a leading

FMCG

company dedicated to providing high-quality edible products to its consumers. We are manufacturers & exporters of various types of non-basmati rice. It includes White rice (Raw Rice), Steam Rice, Half Boiled Rice (Single Boiled Rice) and Parboiled/Boiled Rice (Double Boiled Rice).
We are setting up new plant in Kharagpur.

Key responsibilities

Production and operations management

Supervise milling process:

Oversee all stages of production, including grain cleaning, shelling, polishing, sorting, and grading to meet quality and quantity targets.

Coordinate workflow:

Manage and schedule the activities of workers on the production line to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations.

Optimize production:

Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maximize rice yield and quality while minimizing waste.

Troubleshoot issues:

Identify and resolve mechanical or process-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Team leadership and supervision

Train and mentor staff:

Provide training to new and existing mill workers on machinery operation, safety procedures, and food handling best practices.

Manage team performance:

Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and enforce disciplinary measures if needed.

Create schedules:

Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.

Foster a positive work environment:

Encourage teamwork and a culture of accountability and safety.

Quality control and compliance

Implement quality assurance:

Enforce quality control procedures, including regularly sampling and testing rice for purity, moisture content, and overall quality.

Ensure food safety:

Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).

Conduct inspections:

Perform regular inspections of machinery, processes, and products to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.

Inventory and resource management

Track inventory:

Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw paddy, finished rice, and processing materials.

Order supplies:

Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure a timely and sufficient supply of materials.

Manage resources:

Maximize the effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources to reduce costs and minimize waste.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
