Housekeeping Supervisor - FMCG Unit

Experience

1-3 years

of relevant experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in an

FMCG / manufacturing / industrial environment

Education

Preferred:

Diploma or Certification in

Hotel Management, Housekeeping, Facility Management

, or related field Basic training in

GMP, Hygiene, or Industrial Safety

will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, offices, and common areas Ensure compliance with

GMP, hygiene, and cleanliness standards

as per FMCG requirements Allocate work to housekeeping staff and contract workers; monitor attendance and productivity Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and pest-free premises Ensure proper use, storage, and availability of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and logbooks Coordinate with production, QA, and maintenance teams for cleaning schedules Train housekeeping staff on SOPs, safety practices, and hygiene standards Ensure adherence to

safety, health, and environmental norms

Report issues related to cleanliness, manpower, or material shortages to management
Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

industrial housekeeping and hygiene standards

Basic understanding of

GMP / 5S / safety practices

Team handling and supervisory skills Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work in shifts if required Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Cleanliness and hygiene audit scores Compliance with GMP and safety standards Manpower efficiency and discipline Reduction in housekeeping-related complaints
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
