Requirement: Supervisor Accounting (Audit & compliances) This role is primarily responsible for production of financial statements and reporting, Monthly closing, timely preparation of reconciliations, compliance in meeting local tax and reporting requirements. Positions in this function maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports. Performs account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles. Analyzes and prepares financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position. Involved in the monthly/quarterly \'close\' process. Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits. *Employees in jobs labeled with \xe2\x80\x98SCA\xe2\x80\x99 must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial statements, including balance sheet, statements of profit and Loss and supporting Notes to Accounts as per IND AS
  • Perform financial statement variance analysis and explanation (actuals vs. forecast, period-over-period actuals)
  • Perform Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting as per IND AS
  • Perform ESOP Accounting as per Applicable IND AS
  • Stakeholder management which includes Internal & External Audit
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, contracts and regulations (including country specific)
  • Close of monthly Finance books which include accrual preparation, prepaid amortization & comprehensive Profit and Loss analysis
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
  • 7 - 9 year of Post CA experience in General Ledger Accounting & Audit Compliance
  • Experience of Audit & Controllership is must, must have exposure in IGAAP & UGAAP accounting
  • Experience working with strict deadlines (i.e., month-end close process) and proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, Knowledge of IND-AS, standard on auditing, ICDS and Companies Act 2013
  • Working knowledge of ERP (Ex: PeopleSoft, Essbase, Excel, etc)
  • Analytical skills & an inquisitive mind, strong communication skills and documentation ability, detail oriented, self-motivated and ability to proactively work toward a goal without significant structure or rules.
