Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day ground operations activities, including ramp services, passenger handling, and aircraft turnaround. Ensure strict compliance with aviation safety and security regulations (e.g., IATA, ICAO, local CAA). Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to verify all services meet airline and company standards. Monitor and manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance. Coordinate with airline representatives, air traffic control, fueling companies, and other airport service providers. Lead briefings with ground staff to ensure awareness of daily flight schedules, safety issues, and customer service expectations. Train, mentor, and develop ground crew team members to maintain high performance and safety standards. Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, or operational disruptions. Maintain and update operational reports, shift logs, and safety records. Ensure proper use and maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ground operations, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of airport operations, ground handling procedures, and regulatory requirements. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport security clearance. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
