Qualification

B.E or equivalent with minimum 5 years or Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical with Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Construction roles in Oil & Gas Sector (Upstream, Refinery, Fertilizers) in the field of Plant Piping, Cross Country Pipelines, Tankages or Terminal execution.

Job Profile

o

Ensuring 100% Compliance on PTW and HSEQ norms at site.

o

Ensure appropriate QA/QC and integrity standards, procedures and specifications are in place during the construction / execution activities.

o

Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures in the section and company in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

o

Review the contractor's scope, prioritise, and assign jobs as per the criticality.

o

Tracks, report project progress, quality.

o

Identify opportunities and actions for continued improvement of plant performance by modification/rectifications.

o

Organize and participate in technical interactions with other departments, and suppliers to address problems and show commitment to Company requirements.

o

Assists in the execution of major shutdown execution scope.

o

Knowledge and Experience of Process, in-service repair, rectification, and replacement related job Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and Equipment's / materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.

o

Knowledge of reading Isometric, P&ID and GA drawings. Monitoring Construction Supervision of Steel Pipe laying of Cross-country Pipeline / Piping / replacement of Piping / Sleeve welding Project.

o

Monitoring Hydro Test activities of pipeline / Piping. Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of pipeline.

o

Stage Inspection in fabrication of Pipe Spools like, Weld-edge preparation, fit-up, Weld Inspection.

o

Execution of all types of pipeline activities such as weld visual, NDT and coating.

o

Manpower and re-Sources allotment based on job requirements. Should be able to understand the project/asset specifications, quality requirements applicable to project/plant scope of work and as per Oil & Gas Industry standards.

o

Should be well versed with NDT techniques, Welding & Radiography, Internal Inspection of equipment, awareness about codes and standards, safety and environment standards with ability to prepared and finalize Inspection & quality related work procedures. Possess the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.

o

Ability to manage multiple work fronts with multiple stakeholders.

o

Ability to manage AI projects within Schedule.

o

Shall be capable of managing fabrication and erection contractors, Fabrication and Erection Contractors, Engineering Contractors, Vendors, Plant Integrity Manager, Site Production Managers & Superintendents, Site- Maintenance Managers & Superintendents, Site - HSE Team
