A Supermarket Manager oversees all aspects of a retail grocery store's operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and ensuring the store's profitability. They are responsible for daily tasks like supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and resolving customer issues. Additionally, they develop strategies to drive sales, analyze sales data, and collaborate with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities of a Supermarket Manager:

Staff Management:

Hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating employees.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing inventory to minimize waste and stock outs.

Customer Service:

Ensuring a positive shopping experience, addressing customer complaints, and providing excellent customer service.

Sales and Profitability:

Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and meet sales targets.

Store Operations:

Overseeing the daily workflow of the store, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and maintaining the store's appearance.

Financial Management:

Managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring the store meets its financial goals.

Compliance and Legal Issues:

Ensuring the store complies with all relevant laws and regulations, such as health and safety, employment, and licensing requirements.

Security and Loss Prevention:

Implementing and enforcing security measures to prevent theft, fraud, and other losses.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Effectively communicating with team members, store management, and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Day shift Weekend availability
