Job Description

SUGAR Cosmetics (www.sugarcosmetics.com) is India's fastest-growing premium cosmetics brand with a product portfolio that has consistently received excellent reviews across its own and partner channels. With a cult-following across millennials, SUGAR targets 25 - 35 year old women with clutter-breaking products that have rich payoff with its unapologetically bold brand identity. The team is currently in the middle of rapidly expanding its operations and is looking for the position mentioned above. Please find below further details of the position along with its roles & responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUGAR Cosmetics is internally structured along three strategic business units (SBUs) - SUGAR D2C, SUGAR eCommerce and SUGAR Retail. This role is a senior management position that reports directly to the Co-Founder - has a core position in the internal group that is responsible for all decision-making related to the overall growth of the brand. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and grow the eCommerce SBU to its fullest potential in line with a rapidly scaling market and brand. This would involve:

a) Heading the entire SUGAR eCommerce SBU and owning the P&L - include managing the overall monthly/quarterly/annual revenue-target.

b) Managing the complete business plan from conception to execution - responsible for driving day to day operations to achieve the overall strategic goals.

c) Tracking and pushing SUGAR revenues on multiple eCommerce channels - owned channels and Indian/International partner websites to scale brand on existing platforms and at the same time creating new channels to add layers to the existing operation.

d) Managing significant marketing spends - deciding allocation across platforms and expected results in terms of sales from paid marketing activities.

e) Leading/motivating the team to beat it

f) Leading and motivating the team of marketing & product professionals to improve of an identified set of KPIs that will lead to an overall increase in performance, efficiency and revenues for the SUGAR SBU

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Prior category management experience with hand-on expertise in managing eCommerce revenue targets

- Passionate about understanding internet consumers with a strong grasp of how to plan/execute/iterate on primary & backup sales campaigns to achieve the targeted numbers

- Must have prior experience in managing paid marketing budgets - product management experience is an added plus

- Should be data obsessed. Should have daily updated numbers of revenue and KPI targets at her/his fingertips. Ability to take mid-term calls to boost lagging KPIs and get plans back on track to steer the team towards the target.

- Exceptional leadership skills with huge emphasis on perseverance - ability to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with any project to pull out all stops while chasing a target

- A high bar for quality and integrity of work - your own contributions to that of others

EDUCATION: Top Tier- B school.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Overall 10+ years (with 7+ years of FMCG and e-commerce industry experience)
