Job Description

Key Focus

- Design, commissioning, and integration of substations (MV/HV) for grid-connected renewable energy projects.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. A postgraduate degree in Power Systems is preferred.

Experience:

8 -10 years of relevant work experience in power evacuation systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Primary & Secondary Substation Design:

Develop layouts for

GIS and AIS substations

, including

busbars, circuit breakers, and switchgear arrangements

.

Protection & Control System Design:

Implement

relay logic, SCADA integration, and automation protocols

for remote monitoring.

Grid Code Compliance & Utility Coordination:

Ensure designs meet

grid operator interconnection requirements

for power evacuation.

Equipment Specification & Selection:

Define

HV transformer ratings, circuit breaker trip settings, and surge arrestor placements

.

System Studies & Performance Evaluation:

Conduct

arc flash analysis, insulation coordination studies, and transient stability assessments

.

Factory & Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT):

Oversee

testing of transformers, relay settings, and high-voltage switchgear performance

before commissioning.

Travel Requirements

- Willing to travel and stay as per project requirements in India and abroad.
