Position: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Social Studies (Class 3-12) & Science (Class 3-10)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can design, develop, and deliver high-quality academic content for Social Studies (Class 3-12) and Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology - Class 3-10). The ideal candidate should not only be well-versed with the school curriculum and competitive exam patterns but also have the ability to simplify complex concepts, present them sequentially, and spark curiosity in students.

Key Responsibilities

Create original, accurate, and well-structured content for Social Studies and Science.

Cover Class 3-12 (Social Studies) and Class 3-10 (Science) syllabi as per NCERT, CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards.

Develop engaging explanations with clear 'what' and 'why' for every topic.

Research and incorporate previous years' questions from various competitive and entrance exams (like NDA, SSC, Banking Foundation, Sainik School, RMS, RIMC, NTSE, etc.).

Frame questions, mock tests, and chapter-wise practice sets aligned with the latest exam trends.

Present content in a sequential and story-like manner, especially for historical/social events.

Ensure the flow builds interest and curiosity rather than rote memorization.

Use simple, student-friendly language.

Review and fact-check content to ensure 100% accuracy.

Align with the latest syllabus updates and exam guidelines.

Work with editors, designers, and proofreaders to finalize content for books, digital platforms, and question banks.

Incorporate feedback and improve content quality continuously.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Master's / Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Geography, or related fields (for Social Studies). Background in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) up to Class 10 level is preferred.

Strong command over both Social Studies (Class 3-12) and Science (Class 3-10) concepts.

Proven experience in content writing, curriculum design, or exam-preparation material creation.

Familiarity with competitive/entrance exams trends and question patterns.

Excellent communication skills with ability to explain concepts in simple, engaging language.

Strong research and fact-checking skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
