About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Social Science Subject Matter Expert (SST SME)

to develop, review, and enhance curriculum-aligned academic content. The role involves simplifying complex concepts and creating engaging, learner-centric materials for school students.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality content for

Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics)

Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, MCQs, case studies, and detailed solutions Ensure content aligns with

CBSE / ICSE / State Board / International curricula

Review and proofread content for

accuracy, clarity, and plagiarism-free delivery

Collaborate with curriculum designers, teachers, and product teams Adapt content for

digital formats

(videos, presentations, interactive modules) Incorporate academic feedback to improve content quality and learner outcomes
Subject Coverage

History Geography Political Science (Civics) Economics
(Grades 6-12 preferred)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics / Education

Strong conceptual clarity of school-level SST curriculum Excellent written communication and content structuring skills Ability to explain topics in a

simple, engaging, and student-friendly manner

Preferred Skills

Experience as

SME / Teacher / Content Developer / Academic Writer

Familiarity with

EdTech platforms and digital learning tools

Understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy and assessment design Strong time-management and deadline-oriented approach
