About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable
Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Social Science
to join our content development team. The role involves creating accurate, engaging, and curriculum-aligned content in subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual clarity, research skills, and the ability to present social science topics in an engaging and student-friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development
Develop and review Social Science content for various educational levels, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and educational boards.
Content Creation
Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, case studies, timelines, maps, and multimedia content outlines (videos, infographics, presentations, etc.).
Content Upload & Management
Regularly upload, organize, and update content on the digital learning platform.
Quality Assurance
Review content to ensure factual accuracy, clarity, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives.
Collaboration
Work closely with other subject matter experts, educators, and internal teams to improve overall content quality and learner engagement.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
Graduate or Master's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
Subject Expertise
Strong understanding of Social Science curriculum across various boards, especially Secondary and Higher Secondary levels.
Ability to relate historical, geographical, political, and economic concepts to current and real-world events.
Language & Communication Skills
Good written English skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly.
Technical Skills
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools for research, content creation, and collaboration.
Research & Creativity
Strong research skills with a creative approach to presenting information through stories, examples, and activities.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
