Project Management II is the advanced continuation of BMGT 487, designed for learners who already understand the project basics. This course delves deeper into project execution, control, closing processes, Agile project delivery, risk management, and performance evaluation.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of content for advanced project management topics: quality control, cost variance, earned value analysis, risk strategies, stakeholder engagement, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Guide development of interactive modules, branching scenarios, and capstone assessments.
Offer insights into current trends in project tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA), Agile frameworks, and change management.
Review instructional materials for accuracy, progression, academic tone, and technical precision.
Qualifications
Required
: MBA or MS in Project Management or Operations.
Preferred
: PMP, PMI-ACP, or PMI-RMP credentials.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex projects and/or teaching at graduate or advanced undergraduate level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proficient in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Skilled in translating industry tools and metrics into academic scenarios.
