Program Overview:

Project Management I is an introductory undergraduate course that introduces the principles and practices of project management. The course aims to build a foundation in project lifecycle, scope definition, planning, and scheduling aligned with PMBOK methodologies.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter input on core project management topics: initiation, scope, schedule, budget, risk, communication. Co-develop modules, learning outcomes, activities, rubrics, and assessments in collaboration with instructional designers. Suggest real-world examples that reflect current industry practices and beginner-level project applications. Ensure that all content aligns with academic standards, scaffolds learning progressively, and supports student engagement.

Qualifications

Required

: MBA or MS in Project Management, Operations Management, or related field.

Preferred

: PMP certification, teaching experience in project management. 5+ years of combined experience in project execution, curriculum development, or online education.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong foundational knowledge of PMBOK principles. Experience with basic tools like WBS, Gantt charts, and stakeholder matrices. Ability to bridge the gap between textbook theory and professional practice. Prior exposure to online learning platforms (Canvas, Blackboard) is a plus.
