Job Summary:

Unicent Eduserve LLP

is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Biology and Chemistry to design, develop, and deliver high-quality academic content for middle and high school levels (Grades 6-10). The ideal candidate should be well-versed with CBSE curriculum guidelines, capable of curriculum development, teacher training, academic planning, and offering subject support to partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and other academic resources for Biology and Chemistry. Provide academic guidance and subject support to science teachers across Unicent campuses. Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to ensure instructional quality. Train and mentor teachers in effective science teaching methodologies and lab practices. Design innovative teaching aids and digital resources to enhance student engagement. Collaborate with the R&D team in updating and enriching academic content periodically. Stay updated with latest educational practices, NEP guidelines, and scientific advancements. Support in organizing science fairs, practical demonstrations, and student enrichment programs. Assist in aligning internal assessments and examination patterns with CBSE guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Master's Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Life Sciences or related fields. B.Ed. preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of teaching or academic content development experience for Grades 6-10. CBSE school experience is highly desirable. Strong conceptual knowledge of Biology and Chemistry, with an ability to explain complex topics simply. Exposure to blended and experiential learning approaches is an added advantage.

Skills Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong academic planning and curriculum design skills. Proficiency in using MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Organizational and analytical thinking skills. Passion for science education and student-centric pedagogy.

Remuneration:

As per industry standards and based on qualifications and experience.
