Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated

Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

in

History/Civics

and

Geography

to review and proofread academic content. The SMEs will ensure all materials are accurate, aligned with the

latest ICSE syllabus and exam pattern

, and written in clear, student-friendly language.

This is a

remote freelance opportunity

, requiring strong subject expertise and attention to detail. Work must be completed within

specified timelines

Key Responsibilities

Review and proofread content for

accuracy

,

clarity

, and

curriculum compliance

in History/Civics or Geography. Verify that all information, maps, and explanations align with the

latest ICSE syllabus and marking schemes

. Identify factual, historical, or conceptual errors and provide

corrected versions

. Maintain

consistency

in style, format, and terminology across all content. Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure quality and relevance. Complete assigned work within the agreed timeframe. Sign and adhere to a

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

for content confidentiality.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Arts,

Political Science

or a related field. B.Ed is a plus. Strong familiarity with the

ICSE curriculum

and

exam patterns

. Prior experience in

academic proofreading

,

content review

, or

teaching

preferred. Excellent attention to detail and command of written English. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Reliable internet connection and access to a computer/laptop.

Compensation

Paid on a

per-page basis

based on reviewed and approved work.

Work Arrangement

Remote

work with flexible hours. Must meet deadlines as per project schedules.
