Job Description

A highly skilled and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert in the Electric Vehicle industry, with PhD / Masters in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering with strong knowledge on the Mechanical side of Electric Vehicles. The SME must have proven knowledge and expertise in the areas of EV & Hybrid vehicles, Automotive Mechanics, EV Design & Development, EV Product Development, Homologation, EV FEA Analysis etc. Proficiency in any EV design & simulation software is a must. Experience in handling curriculum design and training delivery on EV Programs is an added advantage. Candidates with minimum 5 years experience from EV / Automotive Industry, Academia or training industry will be considered for this role. Responsibilities:

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements, trends, and best practices in electric vehicle technology, particularly in the Mechanical domain.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all matters related to the EV courses.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students, addressing their questions, concerns, and challenges related to electric vehicle mechanical systems.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the electric vehicle curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
• Act as a resource and consultant to students, colleagues, and industry professionals, offering expert advice and guidance on electric vehicles.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
• Support business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, customer presentations, and participation in industry conferences or events.
  

• Strong expertise in electric vehicle mechanical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in teaching, instructional design, or curriculum development, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Passion for education and the ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses and deadlines.
• Proficiency in educational technologies and tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), multimedia resources, and virtual learning platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear explanations and solutions to student inquiries.
• Continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in electric vehicle technology.
