Job Description

A highly skilled and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert in the Electric Vehicle industry, with PhD / Masters in Electrical Engineering with strong knowledge on the electrical side of electric vehicles. The SME will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the areas of EV & Hybrid vehicles, Battery Technology, Powertrain Development, Power electronics, embedded systems, EV charging infra, vehicle testing, homologation, EV design and analysis, EV PCB design and analysis etc. Proficiency in any EV simulation software is a must. Experience in handling curriculum design and training delivery on EV Programs is an added advantage. Candidates with minimum 5 years experience from Automotive Industry, Academia or training industry will be considered for this role. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all matters related to the EV electrical courses.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the electric vehicle industry.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to be as a nodal point to implement sessions in the field of expertise.
• Act as a consultant and resource for internal teams and external partners, providing technical training, conducting workshops, and sharing knowledge on EV electrical systems.
• Support business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, customer presentations, and participation in industry conferences or events.
  

• Strong expertise in electric vehicles.
• In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle architectures, charging infrastructure, and relevant industry standards.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as autonomous driving, connected vehicles, and vehicle-to-grid integration, in the context of electric vehicles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence decision-making processes.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to electric vehicles and the electrical domain.
