The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing high-quality academic content, study materials, and question-answer solutions for CAT (Common Admission Test) coaching. The role involves creating mock test questions, solutions, concept notes, and strategy guides to help students prepare effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Research & Development
- Research and develop concept-based study materials (Quant, VARC, DILR) for CAT aspirants.
- Design topic-wise modules, short tricks, and formula sheets for quick revision.
- Develop practice exercises, solved examples, and advanced-level questions with detailed solutions.
2. Question Bank & Mock Test Creation
- Create CAT-level practice questions (Easy, Moderate, Hard) with detailed solutions.
- Develop sectional and full-length mock tests based on the latest CAT pattern.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of all questions.
- Review and update existing question banks for errors and improvements.
3. Solution Writing & Explanations
- Provide step-by-step solutions for mock test questions.
- Include multiple solving approaches (conceptual, shortcut methods).
- Ensure explanations are student-friendly and aligned with CAT standards.
4. Academic Strategy & Performance Analysis
- Assist in designing test-taking strategies and time-management tips.
- Analyse previous year CAT papers and predict trends.
- Provide inputs for difficulty level adjustments in mock tests.
5. Quality Assurance & Updates
- Proofread and verify content for accuracy, grammar, and relevance.
- Ensure adherence to CAT exam patterns (as per IIM guidelines).
- Update materials based on student feedback and performance data.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, English, or MBA (Preferred).
- Strong academic record with CAT/GMAT percentile (if applicable).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, LaTeX (optional), Excel (for data analysis).
- Familiarity with CAT-level books (Arun Sharma, Nishit Sinha, PYQs).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication (grammar, clarity, structure).
- Ability to simplify complex concepts.
