Technical - ABAP

Hands-on experience in ECC/SAP HANA and the new ABAP codes. Hands-on experience with SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms, workflows, Fiori. Hands-on experience in RICEF (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms) Hands-on experience in the below areas of ABAP: Reports: Classical, Interactive, and ALV (preferably ALV using OO methodology). Interfaces: BAPI, BDC, Flat file Interfaces (handling files on both Application Server and Presentation Server)
EDI-IDoc / Middleware technologies (IDOCS, Remote Function Calls, Web Services, Odata, API, BTP etc.)

Enhancements: BADI, User Exits and Customer Exits. Knowledge of Enhancement Spots etc.
Knowledge of advanced ABAP areas such as Webdynpro and Workflow would be an added advantage. Knowledge of Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning etc. Knowledge of Fiori, UI5, and JavaScript will be an added advantage.

Development Standards/Development Process

By using project standards and processes to review the technical design document to ensure the development work is in compliance with the specifications. Assisting functional teams, when necessary, in the discovery/testing phases. The candidate should be ready to work in flexible timings

Business Process / Functional knowledge:

Mandatory: General business process and integration knowledge in SAP MM, SD and FICO Modules.

Soft skills/Analytical Skills:

Self-starter and should have good analytical skills and very strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy to drive things in a volatile environment. Should be able to articulate well through various means such as presentation, meeting, group discussion, etc. Should know about various types of projects in SAP: implementation, support, and upgrade. Must have worked on all three types of projects. Should also be good at visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams, creating Proof of Concept programs, etc. Should be a proactive driver and ensure that status reports are produced on time and all development work is tracked as per expectations. * Identifying and resolving issues by analyzing programs and determining solutions
