Job Description
Ensure development and commercial settlement of new parts as per predefined project time lines as per PDx process & within approved budget.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure & Execute timely development of new parts, in order to meet various model events for smooth project launches.
Ensure completion of Budget & Proto costing as per PDx Process for updating business case.
Ensure & complete Mass Production cost settlement for category parts within budget to achieve profitability.
Cost reduction initiatives Leap/Lead ideas Savings at design stage. For new parts, in order to enhance profitability.
Exploring New Technologies & Suppliers to achieve competitive advantage in market.
Budget cost compilation for New Model for business case in order to evaluate the viability of model.
Maker finalization based on sourcing strategy to initiate the part development with defined technology/ appropriate lead time.
Design freeze and part development to meet model event requirements in order to ensure timely product launch.
Material BOM creation for vehicle assembly & cost analysis.
Mentor & review with Buyer/MPLs & manage escalation process. People Development
