Job Description

Responsibilities:

Edit & rewrite news content for digital platforms.

Draft News scripts, make catchy headlines, captions & intro text.

Ensure factual accuracy & editorial standards.

Coordinate with senior reporters/producers for content updates.

Do voice overs of news scripts & write web news.

Manage slight variations in case of any other addition to the news channel programming.

Requirements:

Must have experience in online news channel or video news portal.

Knowledge of Malayalam editing, rewriting & proofreading skills.

Ability to edit scripts, website articles, headlines & subtitles.

Strong Malayalam grammar, accuracy & news sense.

Ability to handle breaking news & tight deadlines.

Knowledge of digital newsroom, basic photoshop & social media trends preferred.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

Experience in content creation, editing, or publishing.

Experience :- 6 months to 1 year preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?10,000.00 per month
