Sub Editor - Entertainment Desk

to join our digital newsroom in Bhopal. The ideal candidate must have strong editing skills, entertainment industry knowledge, and the ability to work on fast-paced trending content.

Responsibilities:

Edit and rewrite entertainment stories with accuracy and clarity. Create engaging content for Bollywood, TV, OTT, music, and trending pop culture. Write SEO-friendly headlines, intros, and story formats. Coordinate with reporters, producers, and the digital team for timely publishing. Track daily entertainment trends, viral stories, and social media content. Maintain editorial quality, fact-checking, and adherence to newsroom standards.

Skills Required:

Excellent editing, writing, and grammar skills (Hindi/English). Strong knowledge of Bollywood, OTT, TV, and pop culture. Understanding of digital platforms, CMS, and SEO. Creative approach to content creation and headline writing. Ability to work under deadlines and handle breaking entertainment news.

Qualifications:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in entertainment journalism or digital news media.
