Job Description

Core Responsibilities for Counselor Profile: -

1.) Client Handling & Communication- Attend to walk-in inquiries, phone calls, and emails. Follow up with prospective students to convert inquiries into admissions.

2.) Counseling Students- Guide students about suitable courses, colleges, and countries based on their academic background, career goals, and financial capacity. Explain admission requirements, visa rules, tuition fees, and living costs.
3.) Visa Guidance- Explain visa filing processes, checklists, and eligibility requirements. Verify documents (academic, financial, work experience, language test results). Ensure students understand visa interview preparation, biometrics, and medical exams if required.
4.) Application Assistance-Assist in preparing and reviewing admission and visa applications. Help students in drafting SOPs, resumes, and other supporting documents. Coordinate with universities/colleges for admission updates. Maintain positive relationships with students and parents.5.) Compliance & Documentation-Maintain updated knowledge of immigration policies, visa rules, and education system requirements of different countries.
6.) After-Visa Support- Provide pre-departure briefings (travel, accommodation, cultural orientation). Guide students in arranging forex, insurance, and other requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Sohana, Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:

Academic counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
