Role Overview:
As a Study Abroad Specialist, your primary mission is to drive student admissions by building and managing a network of B2B agency partners across India, and by directly counseling students. Your success will be measured by the number of admissions you generate -- both directly and through your agency network.
Key Responsibilities:
B2B Agency Network Development & Management
- Identify, approach, and onboard study abroad agencies across India to create a strong partner network.
- Build and maintain relationships with these agencies to ensure consistent lead flow and timely follow-up.
- Provide training and support to agency partners to help them effectively promote our partner universities in Spain, Canada, and UAE.
- Monitor agency performance regularly and strategize to optimize their contribution to admissions.
Direct Student Counseling & Engagement
- Conduct personalized counseling sessions with students and parents to understand aspirations and recommend best-fit universities and programs.
- Guide students through the entire admission and visa application process efficiently.
- Organize webinars, workshops, and events to attract and convert prospective students.
- Ensure excellent student experience through timely communication and follow-up.
Performance & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets -- broken down into direct admissions and those generated through B2B agency channels.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling sessions, admissions, and agency interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide regular reports on agency performance and student counseling outcomes to management.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Education, Business, or related field preferred).
- 2+ years experience in study abroad counseling or education sales, preferably with exposure to agency management or B2B partnerships.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with external agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
- Result-driven mindset with a focus on meeting admission targets.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under deadlines.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms.
