Key Responsibilities
1. Reach out to and coordinate interviews/meetings with social activists.
2. Coordinate with other volunteers, track reports, and manage activity updates.
3. Engage directly with government authorities in person and in writing.
4. Draft and send formal communication such as emails, letters, and RTI applications.
5. Stay calm and composed when facing pushback or challenging situations.
6. Proactively support initiatives addressing local civic issues (potholes, sewage, encroachment, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications
Strong interest in civic issues, governance, and social activism.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus).
Confidence in interacting with activists, volunteers, and government officials.
Ability to stay patient and composed under stressful or confrontational situations.
Prior experience in civic engagement, activism, or volunteer management is desirable but not mandatory.
Commitment
Flexible hours, with availability to attend occasional meetings or field visits.
Minimum commitment of 6 months preferred.
