The Student Mobilizer plays a pivotal role in expanding access to skill-based education by actively engaging with communities, students, and families. Beyond mobilization, this role acts as a bridge between sourcing talent, enabling training, and facilitating recruitment and placement--ensuring that learners move seamlessly from awareness to employability.
The position focuses on identifying, counseling, and enrolling youth--particularly from economically disadvantaged backgrounds--into Mercury Educare's training programs, while building strong trust around career outcomes, industry-aligned training, certification value, and placement opportunities.
Mobilization is the first and most crucial step in the skill-development pipeline, and this role directly contributes to workforce readiness, social inclusion, and formal sector employment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular field visits to schools, colleges, panchayats, and blocks to source and identify potential learners aligned with project and industry requirements.
Organize awareness drives, group meetings, and door-to-door outreach activities to promote skill training and employment-linked programs.
Build strong grassroots connections to create sustainable enrollment and talent pipelines.
Counsel students and parents on available skill programs, training pathways, certifications, and recruitment-linked career prospects.
Address concerns related to employability, safety, affordability, and long-term career growth.
Act as a trusted influencer representing Mercury Educare's mission, training quality, and placement outcomes.
Support student registration, documentation, onboarding, and training readiness as per project guidelines.
Coordinate with training teams to ensure batch formation, attendance, and learner retention.
Work towards achieving mobilization, training, and enrollment targets ethically and responsibly.
Build rapport with local authorities, NGOs, self-help groups, community leaders, and educational institutions.
Collaborate closely with academic and placement teams to support recruitment drives, employer linkages, and final placement of trained students in line with project demands.
