Role Overview

Academic Mentor

with a strong foundation in science to oversee the academic journey of a cohort of 50-60 students. Your mission is to bridge the gap between potential and performance, ensuring every student achieves consistent

academic progression

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring:

Maintain rigorous records of student attendance and marks. Use this data to identify learning gaps and celebrate milestones.

Student Mentorship:

Act as a personal guide for students, providing the

motivation

and study strategies needed to excel in a science-heavy curriculum.

Parental Engagement:

Facilitate regular

parent interactions

to provide transparent updates on student behaviour, progress, and areas needing home support.

Goal Setting:

Conduct one-on-one sessions to help students set realistic targets and navigate the challenges of their degree requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

Education:

A

Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.)

or a related technical field is

mandatory

.

Communication:

Exceptional ability to influence and motivate young learners and communicate effectively with parents.

Analytical Skills:

Comfortable working with data to track trends in student performance.
