The Hybrid Mentor - Hostel is responsible for guiding, mentoring, and supporting students in their academic journey while fostering their overall development. The role focuses on identifying learning gaps, enabling corrective actions, ensuring discipline, and maintaining effective communication with both students and parents to achieve academic success and holistic growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Monitoring & Evaluation
Stay updated with daily academic schedules, ongoing chapters, and upcoming lessons to proactively assist students.
Track and assess student performance through DPPs (Daily Practice Problems), DTS (Daily Test Series), and CWEs (Chapter-Wise Exams).
Analyze performance trends, identify inconsistencies, and address root causes (e.g., high DPP scores but low DTS performance).
Identify underperforming students and implement targeted improvement strategies.
Conduct doubt-clearing sessions after DTS and ensure DPP corrections are completed within 24-48 hours.
Coordinate weekly tests and GIB activities to support continuous learning and engagement.
Oversee hostel rounds, maintaining discipline and adherence to guidelines.
Provide motivation and personal support to students as required.
2. Hybrid Learning & App Utilization
Guide students in effectively using app features such as doubt discussion forums.
Communicate the hybrid learning model to students and parents, emphasizing flexibility and effectiveness to ensure active participation and reduce dropouts.
Ensure consistent engagement in both online and offline classes.
3. Student Mentoring & Communication
Reinforce academic structures and timetables for students lacking discipline.
Manage absentees by arranging DTS make-up sessions and monitoring attendance patterns.
Maintain accurate and timely records of DTS results, student progress, and parent feedback in line with internal reporting requirements.
4. Parent Communication
Clearly explain the program structure, goals, and student progress to parents.
Build trust through regular updates on attendance, test performance, and academic improvements.
Address fee-related queries, ensure timely fee collection, and maintain accurate fee records in the portal.
