Job Description
A school counselor supports students' academic, career, and social-emotional development by providing direct services like counseling, crisis intervention, and goal setting, as well as indirect services like consulting with teachers and parents and referring students to external resources. Key responsibilities include assessing student needs, planning and delivering guidance programs, advocating for student well-being, collaborating with school staff and families, and maintaining confidential records
