Student Counselors

to join our dynamic counselling and sales team in Kozhikode. In this role, you will guide students and parents to make informed academic decisions, drive enrolments, and contribute to the continuous growth of Xylem Learning.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in academic counselling, consultative sales, or the education sector--who are passionate about helping learners achieve their academic goals while meeting performance milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with prospective students and parents through structured outbound and inbound calls using our lead database. Understand students' academic goals, challenges, and aspirations to recommend suitable programs. Present Xylem Learning's programs confidently and persuasively. Provide personalized counselling to build trust and long-term relationships. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets. Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and enrolments using CRM tools. Collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay informed about programs, offers, and industry updates. Share insights and feedback to improve lead generation and enhance the overall student experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 0-2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advisory, or sales (preferably in the education sector). Proven ability to meet or exceed enrolment or sales targets.

Key Skills

Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Strong rapport-building and relationship management abilities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive approach. Adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Malayalam preferred; English communication desirable.
