The Student Counselor provides academic, personal, and career guidance to students. They support students' overall well-being by addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, helping them navigate academic pressures, and fostering their personal development. The counselor serves as a key liaison between students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, emotional, behavioral, and social issues.
Assist students with setting academic and career goals and planning educational paths.
Address and support mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and bullying.
Identify students at risk and develop intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and parents.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress.
