Promote IB learner attributes--balanced, reflective, caring--in all interventions.
5. Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with teachers, coordinators, SEN (Special Educational Needs) department, and leadership to integrate counselling into school life.
Partner with parents through meetings, workshops, and consultations to support student growth.
Maintain referral systems to external professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists) when necessary.
6. Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain confidential case records of counselling sessions.
Share appropriate updates with the pastoral care team/leadership while upholding ethical standards.
Provide reports to management on student well-being trends and interventions.
