Summary :

A student counselor should get maximum admissions to the company for our particular AI and software training programs and to deal the students with batches and interview skills.

Responsibilities:

Student Advising:

Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students to assist with academic planning, course selection, and career development.

Personal Counseling:

Offer confidential support and guidance to students facing personal challenges, such as stress, anxiety, or mental health issues.

Crisis Intervention:

Respond promptly and effectively to students in crisis or emergency situations, including referring them to appropriate resources or services.

Program Development:

Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement programs that promote student engagement, retention, and success.

Student Advocacy:

Advocate for students' needs and rights within the institution, ensuring a supportive and inclusive campus environment.

Outreach and Education

: Conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach activities to educate students on various topics related to academic success, personal development, and well-being.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student interactions in accordance with confidentiality policies and regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with academic advisors, faculty members, and other campus departments to coordinate support services and resources for students.

Continuous Learning:

Stay informed about current trends and best practices in student counseling and higher education to enhance counseling services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field.

Previous experience in counseling, student services, or related roles preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

Knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and ethical guidelines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
