Student Counsellor
Job Description
The essential qualification for a student counsellor is a Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Applied Psychology, education, or Social Work, preferably with a specialisation or additional certification in guidance and counselling. candidates should have a sound understanding of student behaviour, mental health, and developmental psychology. strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with students, parents, and faculty. prior experience in educational counselling or related fields is an added advantage, enabling the counsellor to handle academic, emotional, and personal issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
