The Student Counselor is responsible for guiding, supporting, and mentoring students in their academic, personal, and career development. The role involves counseling students, addressing their concerns, and helping them make informed decisions regarding education and future goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic, personal, and career counseling to students
Assist students in course selection, goal setting, and career planning
Identify students' academic or behavioral issues and provide appropriate guidance
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
Maintain student records and counseling reports confidentially
Coordinate with parents, faculty, and administrative staff when required
Organise workshops, seminars, and orientation programs for students
Guide students regarding admissions, placements, internships, and higher studies
Ensure a positive, supportive, and student-friendly environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field
Basic computer knowledge

Good communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
Strong listening, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
Ability to handle students sensitively and professionally
Experience:
