As a Study Abroad Counselor at

Skill Maestro you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through the process of studying abroad. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Guide students at every step of their journey in discovering their dream university and program. Provide expert assistance in university and course selection, scholarship opportunities, research assistantships (RA), teaching assistantships (TA), profile building, and financing options. Assess students' interests, aptitude, and abilities to offer personalized guidance. Navigate students through the visa application processes for key countries. Assist students in filling application forms for various universities. Establish effective follow-up mechanisms with students and partner universities abroad. Strive to set new standards for student experiences and services. Embrace technology to offer real-time, high-quality counseling services with the latest information. Be available to address students' concerns on a daily basis and liaise with universities and internal teams to ensure a smooth application process. Aid clients in compiling the required documents for application submissions. Provide support for Statement of Purpose (SOP) analysis and improvements, Letter of Recommendation (LOR) assistance, resume editing, and financial documentation support. Assist clients in visa applications and prepare them for visa interviews. Manage internal support teams to ensure an exceptional student experience and meet all timelines.

Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional listening skills to understand and address students' needs effectively. Experience in overseas education counseling is preferred but not required. Proficiency in counseling and admission processes for countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc. A willingness to learn, adapt, and maintain a humble attitude. Graduation/Masters in Counseling or Psychology is an advantage.
