Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Student Counselor - Domestic Admissions

to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of

colleges, universities, courses, and entrance exams

in

Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu

and will work in close association with our

Domestic Department

to guide students toward the right academic path in India.

This role involves counseling students and parents, providing accurate information about colleges and courses, and supporting them through the

complete domestic admission process

.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1.

Student Counseling - Domestic Education

Guide students on

college and course options in India

, including professional, degree, diploma, and integrated programs. Provide expert advice on choosing the

right college, course, and location

based on:
? Academic performance
? Career goals
? Budget & location preference

Maintain updated knowledge of

institutions in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu

.
2.

Admission Process Support

Assist students with:
? Application form filling
? Document verification
? Merit list procedures
? Seat confirmation process

Track all stages of admission from

inquiry to final enrollment

. Ensure all applications meet deadlines and eligibility norms.
3.

Entrance Exam Awareness

Educate students and parents about relevant

entrance exams

, including:
? KEAM (Kerala)
? CUET
? COMEDK (Karnataka)
? KCET
? NEET (for medical-related domestic programs)
? Other state/national entrance exams as required

Guide students regarding

exam patterns, eligibility criteria, and timelines

.
4.

Student & Parent Coordination

Act as the

primary point of contact

for students and parents. Attend and answer inquiries through:
? Walk-ins
? Phone calls
? Seminars & counseling sessions

Build trust and maintain a transparent, professional approach.
5.

Domestic Department Coordination

Work closely with the

Domestic Admissions Team

and internal branches. Update records of:
? Available seats
? New courses & colleges
? Fee structure & scholarships

Maintain proper reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
? Qualifications & Experience Required

? Minimum

2+ years of experience

in domestic education counseling
? In-depth knowledge of

colleges & courses in Kerala, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu

? Familiarity with

domestic admission procedures & entrance exams

? Strong communication skills in

English & Malayalam

? Good interpersonal & student handling skills
? Graduation in

Education / Management / Counseling / related field

Location : Kaloor , Ernamkulam

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
