We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented

Academic Counselor

to join our Calicut branch. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the

overseas education sector

and a passion for helping students achieve their study-abroad goals.

Key Responsibilities

:

Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities, destination options, course selection, admission processes, and documentation. Assess the student's academic background and career aspirations to guide them in selecting suitable programs and universities. Handle walk-ins, calls, and online inquiries effectively and convert them into enrollments. Follow up with potential leads through calls, WhatsApp, emails, or face-to-face meetings. Coordinate with application and documentation teams to ensure smooth processing of student files. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress. Meet individual and team targets on a monthly basis. Keep up-to-date with global education trends, visa regulations, and university policies. Participate in promotional activities like education fairs, seminars, webinars, etc.

Requirements

:

Mandatory

: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in overseas education counseling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Malayalam. Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment. Strong convincing skills and a student-friendly attitude. Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
