We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and experienced Student Counsellor / Wellness Coach to support the emotional, mental, and social well-being of students. The ideal candidate will offer individual and group counselling, develop wellness programs, and work collaboratively with staff and families to foster a healthy, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Counselling & Support:
Provide individual and group counselling to students facing emotional, academic, behavioral, or social challenges.
Identify and support students at risk through early intervention strategies.
Maintain confidentiality while complying with legal and ethical obligations.
2. Wellness & Mental Health Programs:
Design and implement wellness programs and workshops (e.g., stress management, mindfulness, resilience building).
Promote mental health awareness through campaigns, events, and seminars.
3. Student Development:
Assist students in goal setting, time management, and building healthy habits.
Offer guidance on conflict resolution, peer relationships, and personal growth.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with faculty, parents, and support staff to address student needs.
Refer students to external mental health professionals or community services when needed.
Maintain accurate records and reports as per institutional policies.
5. Crisis Intervention:
Respond to urgent student situations, providing immediate support and coordination with emergency services when necessary.
Help develop and implement crisis management protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field.
Certification as a licensed counsellor or wellness coach (if applicable).
Minimum [1-3] years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certificate is mandatory
