We are looking for a motivated and student-focusedAcademic Counselor to join our team. The role involves engaging with student leads, explaining our training programs, guiding them through the admission process, and coordinating with trainers to ensure smooth delivery of sessions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to achieve sales targets while building positive student relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Contact and follow up with students from provided leads via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
Explain training courses, career benefits, and program structure in a clear and professional manner.
Address student queries, guide them through the enrollment process, and close admissions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
Coordinate with trainers regarding schedules, student queries, and course progress.
Meet weekly/monthly admission and sales targets.
Provide feedback to the management team on student needs and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil (additional languages are a plus).
Prior experience in counseling, inside sales, or education sector will be an advantage.
Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term student relationships.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools, email communication).
Goal-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
