Job Summary:

The Student Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process -- from the initial inquiry to enrollment. The role involves counseling students and parents, managing leads, explaining academic programs, and ensuring a smooth admission experience while meeting enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online) and provide detailed information about the university's courses, eligibility, and admission procedures. Counsel prospective students and parents to help them choose suitable programs based on interests and career goals. Follow up with leads generated through various marketing and outreach activities. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM or admission software. Assist students with the application process, documentation, and fee submission. Participate in admission events, education fairs, school visits, and webinars. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and lead generation. Support the admission team in achieving monthly and annual enrollment targets. Provide regular reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and admission status to the management. Ensure a student-centric and professional approach in all communications.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's preferred). 1-3 years of experience in counseling, admissions, or education sales (fresh graduates with good communication skills may also apply). Knowledge of academic programs and higher education system preferred.

Key Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong counseling and persuasion abilities. Good organizational and follow-up skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/admission software. Fluency in English and Hindi (regional language is an advantage). Positive attitude, patience, and customer-focused approach.

Pay: ₹9,487.57 - ₹25,000.00 per month
