Use BIM (Building Information Modeling) for integrated design workflows.
Documentation
Prepare detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors.
Project Coordination
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with design intent.
Conduct site inspections to verify construction aligns with structural plans.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all designs comply with local and international codes (e.g.,
IS Codes

Eurocode

BS

ASCE
).
Perform structural assessments of existing buildings if needed.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil or Structural Engineering.Master's (M.Tech/M.S.) in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
Strong foundation in structural mechanics and materials.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
Knowledge of construction methods and detailing.
Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary coordination.
