Job Summary

The Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for steel structures using various software tools. This role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and precise designs.

Duties

Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max to create detailed steel structure drawings Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements Develop accurate shop drawings for fabrication and construction Review and modify designs to meet project specifications Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Assist in the development of material lists and cost estimates

Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and other CAD software Experience in steel detailing or related field Knowledge of system design principles Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Familiarity with 2D animation, Grasshopper, and graphic design is a plus
