This role is ideal for someone who is confident with CAD tools, understands how PEB components work together, and enjoys turning engineering concepts into accurate, build ready drawings. You'll work closely with senior engineers and project teams to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare shop drawings, erection drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for PEB and structural steel projects
Develop accurate detailing using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools
Coordinate with engineers and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements
Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for structural components
Review drawings for accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and industry standards
Resolve drawing related issues and support timely project delivery
Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings
Stay updated with PEB detailing practices, tools, and relevant codes
Required Skills & Proficiencies:
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Good understanding of PEB systems and structural steel detailing concepts
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Good communication skills and a proactive problem solving approach
Basic knowledge of Excel for BOM and data handling
Education & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Around 3 years of experience in PEB or structural steel detailing
Proven experience in preparing shop drawings, GA drawings, and BOM
