The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of structural systems for various water and wastewater projects. This role involves ensuring structural integrity, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and optimizing materials and design efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural engineering principles, software proficiency, and practical field experience. Should have good technical knowledge of IS codes & other relevant codes, with capability to handle design individually.
Hands-on experience in software like MS Office, AutoCAD, STAAD and ETABS is preferred.
Knowledge in preparing presentations, reports and conducting site inspections at every required stages.
Able to coordinate with multiple teams during construction and participate in pre-construction discussions.
Support tendering and proposal teams with technical input and preliminary design concepts.
provide construction support through site visits, structural inspections, and resolution of field engineering queries.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience:
Min 3 years of structural engineering experience, specifically in water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and hydraulic structures.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach.
Good communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and across multiple project phases.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
