We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer with 5+ years' experience to design and coordinate Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Automation and Lighting systems for our building projects and townships.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP designs, load calculations, sizing and technical drawings in line with project requirements and relevant codes.
Develop BOQs, technical specifications and design reports for all MEP systems.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of services.
Review and validate contractor/shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
Conduct site visits and assessments to resolve technical issues and support smooth execution.
Provide design clarifications to site teams; update drawings based on site conditions and approved changes.
Ensure all MEP designs align with energy efficiency, safety and sustainability objectives where applicable.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in MEP design for building projects.
Strong technical knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Fire and related systems.
Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software.
Excellent coordination, documentation and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables within timelines.
