Job Summary

Giga Power Solutions is seeking a skilled

Structural Engineer

to join our engineering team in Pondicherry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and detailing for offshore and onshore oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with applicable international codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for offshore and onshore structures (steel and RCC). Prepare and review design calculations, technical reports, and design basis documents. Develop structural drawings in coordination with drafting teams. Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (API, AISC, Eurocode, IS, BS, etc.). Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, mechanical, electrical). Review vendor drawings and technical submissions. Support procurement with technical evaluations when required. Participate in design reviews and client discussions. Ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance for all deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. 3-8 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, offshore, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, or equivalent. Familiarity with offshore structures, pipe racks, modules, foundations, and buildings. Experience in preparing IFC drawings and calculation packages. Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills

candidates from Tamil N?du Experience in EPC / EPCM projects. Exposure to offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, or onshore industrial facilities. Ability to work independently and handle fast-track projects. Immediate availability or short notice period. Must be willing to travel to Client location if requires
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,558.81 - ₹58,622.74 per month
