Job Description

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and review of structural components related to drainage networks, culverts, retaining walls, and other associated civil infrastructure works. The role involves ensuring that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications while coordinating with site teams and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review structural designs and drawings for drainage structures such as box culverts, retaining walls, manholes, and pipe supports. Ensure compliance with IRC, IS, and MoRTH codes and standards. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to construction teams. Coordinate with civil, hydraulic, and geotechnical engineers to integrate design solutions.. Review and approve shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and as-built drawings. Identify design-related issues at the site and propose effective technical solutions. Participate in design review meetings with clients and consultants. Ensure safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness in design and implementation.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering/Diploma (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in drainage / infrastructure / water projects. Strong knowledge of structural design codes (IS 456, IS 3370, IRC standards, etc.). Proficiency in design software: STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Excel, and other engineering tools. Understanding of hydrology and hydraulic requirements in drainage systems. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
