Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures to ensure they are safe, stable, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and evaluate structural components and systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Prepare structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reports. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Perform site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation. Prepare and review technical reports and construction documents. Address issues related to structural integrity during and after construction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure is preferred. 2-5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design. Knowledge of sustainable and resilient design principles. Familiarity with BIM processes and 3D modeling software. Field experience in construction or structural inspection is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Office-based work with occasional site visits. May require occasional travel depending on project needs. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
