to join our construction team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, detailing, and analysis, along with proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing accurate technical drawings and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review
structural drawings, plans, and layouts
using AutoCAD.
Perform
structural analysis and design
for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant
codes, standards, and safety regulations
.
Coordinate with
architects, project managers, and site engineers
to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Conduct
site inspections
to verify structural integrity and drawing implementation.
Assist in the preparation of
BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports
.
Review design modifications and provide
technical recommendations
as needed.
Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Civil / Structural Engineering
or equivalent.
Minimum
4 years of experience
in structural design and AutoCAD drafting within the
construction industry
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and MS Office
.
Strong understanding of
IS codes, RCC, and steel structures
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
Revit Structure
or
BIM software
is an added advantage.
Knowledge of
construction sequencing
and
load path analysis
.
